Laura is a visionary leader and role model who is passionate about building diverse, collaborative and inclusive teams who deliver exceptional quality. With almost 20 years of commercial experience in Technology and driven by developing strong relationships and positive transformation, she consults for 6point6 bringing to life the equity and inclusion strategy.

Maggie Wang is a machine learning scientist at Bumble. As a member of the Data Science User Experience team, she works to help people find meaningful connections by developing graph-based solutions and applications. She also actively works to develop and promote responsible AI in the organisation. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, followed by an MPhil in Machine Learning.

With over 25 years of experience in the data industry, Andrew is a Chief Data Engineer / Architect / Scientist. He has worked across many industry sectors building data teams, designing data products, and delivering production data solutions. He is the author of “Mastering Spark for Data Science”, one of the key textbooks used to teach Spark.

With over 14 years of experience, Dean is the Head of Information Assurance at 6point6. He specialises in helping companies balance their compliance obligations and manage information security risks. Dean is also part of the AWS Authority to Operate (ATO), offering unique guidance to companies in both the public and private sectors on how to adopt cloud-based services in particular industries.

Alex is a cloud DevOps engineer with a Masters Degree in Computer Science (Networks and Security). With years of experience working in agile project environments, Alex has acquired expert knowledge using DevOps tools like GitHub Actions, Checkov, Terraform, Ansible and Amazon Web Services. He is also experienced in security engineering, building, securing and maintaining an enterprise-level on-prem android application-hosting environment.

Jon Gale is Chief Underwriting Officer of Reinsurance for AXA XL and was appointed to his current position in January 2020. Immediately prior to this Jon was Chief Executive, Reinsurance in Bermuda from 2017-2020. His previous positions included Chief Executive, Reinsurance in London from 2015-2017, as well as being Joint Active Underwriter of Catlin Syndicate 2003.

Steve is Chief Underwriting Officer and a member of the Executive management team at Pool Re. Steve has responsibility for all aspects of underwriting and claims, including exposure management and modelling. Prior to this, Steve spent 12 years at Allianz UK, latterly as Head of UK Property and Casualty. Steve is an associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and is also an expert witness in insurance matters.

Dan is a data leader and architect who brings together cross-functional teams to help organisations do amazing things with data. His mission is to build trust at every step in the journey to become data-driven, by demystifying the data strategy, and bringing use cases to life especially in advanced analytics, machine learning, geospatial data, and graph analytics. Dan has twelve years experience in technology and data consulting for major clients in financial services, and he has a PhD in the History of Political Ideas.

Gary leads our consulting team and prior to his appointment as CDO, Gary headed up our data practice bringing innovation and scale to complex data transformation programmes. Gary has deep experience in data strategy and data exploitation and has held senior positions across the Big 4 and global system integrators. He is a subject matter expert in Big Data, Data Science and is also is an experienced Enterprise Data Architect, with a proven track record delivering complex programmes to multiple stakeholders.

Isobel’s mission is to make AI accessible to all businesses, regardless of size or industry. She has experience in data acquisition, data modelling, statistical analysis, machine learning, deep learning, and NLP. Combined with a background in business leadership, consulting and economics, Isobel is a highly commercial Data Scientist.
