The 6point6 Women in Tech mentoring programme is a 6-month volunteer initiative that will connect our women with female professionals in technology and leadership positions. We aim to help 6point6 women thrive in a male-dominated industry. This valuable opportunity will provide our community with the skills and support to navigate their careers and overcome blockers, aiding personal and professional development. The role of the mentor is to provide support and guidance to assist mentees in reaching their professional goals.
How it works
There are two key strands in the mentoring programme; individual and group mentoring. The individual mentoring strand is a 1-2-1 partnership that provides a sounding board to run ideas for career development. The group mentoring strand allows all mentors and mentees to meet every 4 to 6 weeks for a short workshop to share ideas.
Requirements
Relevant experience to provide mentoring to women in technology.
Interested in volunteering your time to help amazing female talent.
