Job Title: Senior Desktop Support Engineer

Location: London – 6point6 Office

Division / Team: IT

Type of Contract: Permanent

Key responsibilities:

  • Using your communication, technical and creative problem-solving skills to provide assistance and technical IT support to 6point6 staff.
  • Utilising our Jira service desk to resolve technical tickets as they come in from staff.
  • Building new workstations for staff, and setting up mobile devices.
  • Working on technology projects with staff across the business when required.
  • Working with the internal cyber security team when required.
  • Working from our office in London and remotely from home during the Covid-19 period.

Essential skills:

  • You are natural helper; you enjoy helping people with computer-related problems and are able to explain technical solutions to anyone.
  • In your background we will like see proven experience as a Software Support Technician, Desktop Support Engineer, IT Help Desk Technician or similar role.
  • Strong trouble shooting skills, you feel confident diagnosing, troubleshoot, and reporting on technical issues, explaining them in simple terms to people at all levels of a business.
  • Experience with working on Windows and OSX operating systems.
  • Experience in building Windows and OSX workstations.
  • Experience with Gsuite, Atlassian and confluence.
  • Communicate and collaborate well in a team environment.
  • Have a sense of humour and want to join our friendly team.
