Job Description:

The data team is focused on the industrialisation of technologies that have made it into the mainstream. However, increasingly our clients are struggling to drive value out of Big Data technologies due to a lack of architecture, skills and compelling business cases. This team brings together a great team of leading practitioners in IoT, AI and Data technologies that realise the value and promise of these emerged technologies.

With a strong Java development background you’ll have the opportunity to work with modern technologies and would be responsible for delivering technical functionality to enable the successful and smooth go-live.

We are looking for Data Engineers at junior to mid-level who have Java development background including exposure/experience with Kafka.

Essential skills:

  • Hands on development of applications making use of HBase, Kafka and Kafka Streams/Samza for data ingestion, transformation, and processing.
  • Strong Java development background including experience with Kafka.
  • AWS cloud experience
  • Knowledge of Back End programming, specifically Java with understanding of design patterns such as Dependency Injection.
