Brief description
6point6’s People Practice consists of highly skilled HR business partners, learning and development [L&D] and talent acquisition [TA] partners. We are the function that ensures there is a positive and trusting environment for current 6point6 employees but also for our new employees. Our overall role is to ensure that we attract great talent and retain our existing talent, whilst ensuring that the whole team feels motivated, listened to, rewarded and supported.
As the people generalist you will work across all three areas within the practice, helping with various administration tasks, and projects as well as building relationships throughout the business. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is looking for a career in HR but are not yet sure which area is their preferred area.
Role and responsibilities
- Assist HR business partners with general administration across the whole life cycle from joining until retirement, including managing our internal HRIS, Bamboo HR and all personnel records.
- Answer employee’s queries pertaining to people-related issues and managing various email inboxes.
- Assist L&D - managing the two L&D platforms, supporting with booking training, managing the budget, and in due course, supporting in face-to-face trainings.
- Assist the TA team with a variety of administration tasks as needed including scheduling Zoom/face-to-face interviews, liaising with external recruiters and candidates, ensuring we offer a fantastic candidate experience.When in London, assist with facilities - manage the front desk, greet guests, open post, ensure the staff kitchen is in order - snacks, drinks, etc. - this is a task shared across the function.
- Work closely with HR director to organise events for staff, as needed.
Requirements
- Experience with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word and any other project management tools/products; understanding of Google/ G-drive is beneficial
- Excellent communication skills and written English.
- High level of energy and enthusiasm and a personal sense of urgency and capacity to overcome obstacles is a must.
- A can-do, solution focused, positive attitude, where you are prepared to ‘roll up your sleeves’ and get involved and where you offer exceptional employee service combined with exemplary follow through.
- Always deal with our team in a fair, consistent, kind, supportive, professional manner, and always demonstrating constant respect and uncompromising integrity.

- Strong mind-set for continuous process improvement and proven ability to switch between big picture and attention to detail. Ability to think outside of the box, embrace change and suggest creative innovative solutions.
- Flexible and pragmatic approach to changing business requirements with an ability to drive and support change initiatives.
