What exactly will I expect from the digital talent programme?
Our digital talent programme is an opportunity for people who want to fast track their IT career and gain hands-on experience within a fast-growing technology consultancy.
This is an 18-month programme and in your first five weeks you will gain insight across all areas of our business:
- technology practices such as cyber security, data, software engineering, cloud/DevOps
- core services such as delivery, finance, IT, HR and sales and marketing
In addition, you will receive core technical and consulting skills training and be assigned a mentor, buddy and people manager to ensure you receive the support you need during the programme and your on-going career at 6point6.
After your five week initial training, you will then work in your specialism for the next 17 months where you will continue to receive ongoing training and support whilst gaining hands-on experience working on some of our exciting and challenging projects. At the end of the 18 months, you will join our graduation ceremony to celebrate your successes and we will give you an opportunity to step into a junior full-time role.

Requirements
Who is this opportunity for?
Graduates who have graduated in the last two years with a relevant degree in Technologu/IT
Candidate specification
- Graduated in the last two years
- Industrial placement from university or work placement (vacations or internships)
- Created and worked on your own personal project
- Exposure to programming languages or an understanding of basic principles of security and networking
- An interest and passion in technology – cyber security, data, software engineering, DevOps/cloud
Soft Skills
- Previous experience in a customer facing environment
- Willingness to learn independently and collaboratively
- Ability to communicate effectively to peers and stakeholders
- Inquisitive nature and like to solve real world problems using technology
- Good communications skills and ability to communicate across different business areas
- Strong mind-set for continuous process improvement and proven ability to switch between big picture and attention to detail
- Flexible and pragmatic approach to changing business requirements with an ability to drive and support change initiatives
